This magical activity is inspired by a process borrowed from photography: cyanotype. Using opaque patterns and natural elements of their choice, children create designs on photosensitive paper. After exposure to the sun, the paper is imprinted with the negative patterns. All that's left to do is rinse the paper in a bath of clear water, and the design is revealed on a blue background! Patterns inspired by nature to create 8 poetic nocturnal paintings.
